Sleep troubles

Isn't it just so frustrating when your baby is screaming, and I mean SCREAMING, and you just don't know why? And, isn't it more frustrating when this screaming happens every half hour all through the night!? Especially at 8 months old! That was my night last night. Funny how he slept straight through the night the night before. I have many theories. One being that he is cutting a tooth in the bottom front area of the gums. The second is that he had a tummy ache or stuffy nose. The third is that he is getting into that "I want my mommy" phase. He has been following me everywhere I go lately and last night, when he was supposed to be playing with Daddy while I took a bath, he came crawling into the bathroom and stood by the bathtub to say hi to me twice. This theory is definitely the cutest, lol. The last is the most simple. He usually sleeps on a comforter that has jungle animals all over it but I washed it yesterday and it was not dry after the dryer was done so I laid it out to dry over night. He may have missed the jungle animals, afterall he does talk to them. Whatever the problem may be I pray that these next few nights go like the night before last.

Now, let me tell you how we got him to calm down. First we tried the Orajel, didn't work. Then I took his temperature, it was 95.7! Hmm... odd.. So, he was crying as if he were in pain so we decided to try and give him some Tylenol. I also gave him a little teddy bear and this seemed to work from 2:00 am to 5:00 am. Then we gave him a bottle (yes, we tried that earlier too) and he slept until about 8:00. Now I am thinking he may be getting sick, cuz he did have the runny nose and he was sneezing. Now I am hearing coughing. Oh my... what should I do!? HELP!
