For those of you not from the Santa Barbara area there has been a fire burning in the mountains since the 4
th of July. So far it has burned 155,445 acres and is only 61% contained. Our air is filled with smoke and ash, it's like walking through snow and if we open our windows to get some cool air in the house or car they will be filled with ash. They expect it to be contained by September 7
th and so far have spent $78.7 million to contain it. It is very scary, especially since they said for people in our area to be ready to evacuate our homes.
