Reactions to shots

Our poor little Ethan got a fever of 101 on Wednesday, Thursday he was at 102 so we took him to the doctor who told us he was just having a reation from his MMR shots and that they usually occur a week after the shot and last about 72 hours. That night his fever went up to 104.5! (That was so scary!!) The next night Jonathan and I decided to go to Auburn (Ethan's fever seemed better and he seemed happy). Well when we got into town his temp was back up to 102 and he was very weak, he couldn't even roll over from his back to tummy. Poor little guy. Today his fever is gone and he is eating again but now he has a little red rash all over his body. Jonathan's mom said that it is probably a mild case of the measles and that he will be just fine... and he is NOT contagious. I decided to check it out in my toddler handbook and she is absolutely right! Anyway, it is really sad. He has been in a bad mood the whole time we've been in town and I just feel so bad! Please pray for this to go away ASAP!
