Freesias and cosmos

Two years ago, in February, Jonathan and I were excited to find out that we were pregnant with our first child. We went to the farmer's market and bought some pretty freesias to celebrate and decided to nickname our little baby "freesia" until it was born since I had a feeling it was a girl. Unfortunately a few days after we bought the lovely flowers I had a miscarriage. I was completely and utterly devastated. I missed work for a week, I wouldn't talk to anyone and I cried constantly. We decided to take a trip to Auburn to try to get my mind off of it for a while. While in Auburn in snowed (a rarity for that area) and that night little Ethan was conceived. We decided to nickname him "Peanut" since I had a feeling he was a boy. Now we are pregnant with our third baby, our second surviving baby. We are calling this baby "Pebbles" because my feeling is that this baby is a girl.

Two years later our freesias are still blooming and reminding us of the little baby that we lost.

The other flowers that are growing with the freesias are called cosmos. Jonathan got those for me for our 2 year wedding anniversary. I was already pregnant with Pebbles when he gave them to me. I will always think of my little Pebbles when I see them bloom.
