We had a very busy weekend. It consisted of mostly packing, unpacking and repacking our stuff in the heat with no air conditioner. Of course, little Ethan was very helpful...

Needless to say, we had to take many breaks to get away from the huge mess and cool off. We got some blended coffees, fed the ducks at the park (as you can see below) and we went one last time to the Santa Barbara Mission to see the beautiful rose garden...
What a busy weekend! We are still far from done and only had 4 more days (4 very busy days already) to finish packing and getting ready to get outta here!
We took our car in for an oil change, tire alignment, and balance and of course the next day it is making a very loud noise when we turn left. Ironically the techs at Honda could not hear the noise and said nothing was wrong. We'll have to take it in this afternoon because Jonathan and Joy cannot drive the car across the country like that. Tomorrow we go see the Ob/Gyn for a check-up, then Wednesday we see the high-risk OB for one more ultrasound. Thursday we are hoping to have a picnic at the zoo to relax before our big move. Friday we load up the truck and Saturday we leave! Busy, busy. Wish us luck!
