What is up with the weather this year!?

It has been so weird... November of '09 Auburn (Nor Cal) got a really big snow storm... it snowed almost to Sacramento! In my whole life living there I have never seen it snow so far down the hill. So weird. Now I am living in Massachusetts and one of the reasons I was so excited to live here for a little while was the snowy winters we would have. Last winter was great! We had a good sized snow storm every week or two, this winter has sucked! The weather lady mentioned that this winter we have only gotten 13 inches total. She said we were due for a big snow storm yesterday, one that would yield about 10 inches. Well.... after all the schools closed down for this "huge storm" we ended up with about 2 inches at the end of the day. On the plus side Jonathan got to stay home but he was bummed that he didn't get some of the work done that he could have so he could spend better quality time with us later. The poor kids are so bored and I am just not creative enough to think of fun inside activities for them. Ethan has been so grumpy, lol! I just wish it wasn't so cold outside... I hope that our last winter here is better than this...
