What a weekend!

This weekend we set out to get our Christmas tree. It was a very fun expedition! I found a tree farm online and decided to make that our place this year. We hopped in the car and drove, and drove and drove and did not find our turnoff road. So we drove ALL the way back home. Jonathan asked me to go back upstairs and try to get different directions and as I was getting out of the car he pulled the map I had printed up off the floor and exclaimed "YOU HAD A MAP!?" I had forgotten about the map! We hopped back in the car and drove right to the tree farm. My face was red! Oh well, we had fun together anyway, and I'm sure Jonathan enjoyed giving me a hard time on the way. When we got there we grabbed a saw and headed out into the tree farm to pick our tree, a small tabletop tree. Well Jonathan and I are not "small-tabletop-tree" kind of people and we now have a tree that practically touches our ceiling!
Ethan had a blast at the tree farm. He ran up and down the rows of trees, helped saw our tree down and cried while we were leaving and the whole way home. Now we have our beautiful tree and it is almost done being trimmed.
Saturday was fun but Sunday was even more fun! We woke up to a blanket of white snow outside and it has been snowing all day. It is so beautiful! Ethan loved playing in the snow but I think he was surprised at how cold it is. Pictures below.
